Job summary

QXO, a leading distributor and installer of building products, is seeking a professional truck driver to join our team in Florida. You will perform touch-freight tasks, pre-inspect equipment, and coordinate with dispatch to ensure on-time deliveries.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, at least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience, and the ability to operate heavy equipment. You must be 21+ and committed to safety and PPE protocols on every site.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class A CDL license in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, lifting/moving products weighing over 75 lbs.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, verify load accuracy.
• Notify branch management of potential hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect site for loading/unloading safety.
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher for timely deliveries.
• Follow DOT and company safety procedures and wear PPE.
