Qualifications

• Must possess a Class A CDL or commercial learner permit (CLP) prior to entering job classification.
• Must possess acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) based on hiring standards.
• Must meet DOT regulatory requirements under 49 CFR part 383 and 383.73.
• Ability to count and perform basic math, with or without a calculator.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer and trailers.
• Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and inter-trip safety inspections.
• Hook/unhook trailers and converter dollies to/from a tractor/trailer.
• Maintain accurate daily logs.
• Verify and complete required documentation and reports.
• Follow Dispatch instructions and communicate any events or delays.
• Comply with hazmat regulations and placarding where required.
• Perform freight handling and related duties as needed.
