Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc. is seeking a qualified driver to operate tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles, and to deliver between service centers or turn-points. You will gain proficiency through education and hands-on training, while performing dock duties as needed.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, a clean MVR, and compliance with DOT regulations. You will maintain logs, follow dispatch instructions, and provide reliable customer service.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL and meet DOT requirements.
• Acceptable MVR per hiring standards and DOT regs.
• Ability to count and perform basic math, with or without a calculator.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer including doubles/straight trucks.
• Perform pre-trip, post-trip and inter-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate daily logs and required reports.
• Follow dispatch instructions and communicate delays or issues.
• Comply with hazmat regs and placarding, when applicable.
• Operate freight handling equipment and assist on the dock.
