Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc. is seeking a driver to operate tractor-trailers, including doubles or straight trucks, and perform safety inspections and dock duties. You will maintain daily logs, follow Dispatch instructions, and ensure hazmat compliance while providing strong customer service.

The role may require overnight stays and occasionally performing city driver or freight handler duties. Starting pay is $26.47 per hour in Nebraska, with full-time hours and variable schedules.

Qualifications

• Must possess a class A CDL or a commercial learner permit (CLP).
• Must have acceptable MVR per hiring standards and DOT regulatory requirements.
• Ability to count and perform basic math, with or without a calculator.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer, including doubles/straight trucks.
• Perform pre-/post-trip inspections and complete reports.
• Hook/unhook trailers and converter dollies; etc.
• Maintain accurate daily logs and communicate with Dispatch.
• Comply with hazmat regulations and safety policies.
