Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a Delivery District Leader in the United States to lead a team of 10–20 delivery drivers, ensuring timely store deliveries and top-tier customer service in a fast-paced direct store delivery environment.

The role requires a CDL or strong delivery experience, early morning start (4 am), and the ability to coach and develop drivers while upholding DOT safety standards; a bachelor’s degree and solid leadership are preferred.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years managing frontline employees.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred and/or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings (4am - 6am start), evenings and/or weekends. Work week will be Monday - Friday.
• Knowledge in DOT.
• Previous delivery experience.
• Class A, CDL certified not mandatory but strongly recommended.
• Must be willing and able to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Safe driving record strongly preferred.
• Demonstrate strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Possess strong organizational and prioritizing skills.
• Have a highly developed sense of urgency.
• Demonstrated results in improving business performance through leadership.
• Microsoft Office Suite.
• This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Manage a group of 10-20 delivery drivers (CDL certified).
• Answer Field customer calls regarding deliveries and ensure 100% customer service.
• Ensure store delivery time windows are met daily.
• Work proactively with sales representatives and warehouse operations to understand the needs of the customers and sales force.
• Coach, lead and develop drivers to support the sales organization and improve daily productivity via gate-to-gate route rides twice a week, minimum.
• Maintain process improvement to further enhance productivity of deliveries.
• Ensure compliance of Department of Transportation and PBC safety standards.
• Conduct team meetings and safety training to ensure that preventive measures are enforced.
• This role has a morning shift (start time 4 am) and the schedule is tentative.
