Job summary

GFL Industries seeks a professional CDL driver to operate container delivery trucks on assigned routes, delivering and removing dumpsters with safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, documenting route activity, communicating mechanical issues, maintaining clean vehicles, and adhering to all safety regulations; CDL required, 1 year driving experience or CDL school certificate demanded.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED desired.
• Possess a valid CDL.
• Minimum 1 year trucking experience or CDL school certificate.
• Able to meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate container delivery truck and on-board hydraulic systems to deliver and remove dumpsters.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and daily route documentation.
• Communicate vehicle mechanical problems to supervisor or mechanic promptly.
• Maintain route quality and inventory on yard in an orderly manner.
• Ensure containers are covered and safety standards followed at all times.
• Maintain a clean vehicle interior and exterior; wear PPE as required.
• Attend safety meetings and possible overtime as needed.
