Job summary

GFL Environmental, located in Wilmer, Texas, is seeking a Driver responsible for operating a container delivery truck to service customers by delivering and removing solid waste dumpster containers efficiently and safely.

The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL and prior commercial driving experience. Responsibilities include maintaining safety standards, conducting vehicle inspections, and ensuring quality service on assigned routes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) desired.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Minimum of one year commercial truck driving experience or CDL school certificate.

Responsibilities

• Operate the container delivery truck and on-board hydraulic systems to deliver and remove solid waste dumpster containers.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip safety lane inspections and reports.
• Communicate vehicle mechanical problems to the mechanic and supervisor.
