Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a CDL driver to operate roll-off trucks along designated routes, performing inspections and delivering containers to designated facilities. You will interact with customers, maintain logs, and ensure safety adherence throughout each shift.

Qualifications

• CDL required to drive commercial vehicles.
• Proven ability to perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Demonstrated safety awareness and adherence to regulations (DOT, OSHA, FMCSA, EPA).
• Ability to interact courteously with customers and public.
• Experience operating a truck with manual transmission may be required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Drive roll-off truck on designated routes to collect, exchange, or deliver containers.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and submit vehicle reports.
• Interact with customers along the route and notify supervisor of issues.
• Maintain cleanliness at customer sites and surrounding areas.
• Maintain DOT logs and route/productivity sheets as required by policy.
• Back up and maneuver truck using mirrors and GPS/maps.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations.
