The role requires completing pre-trip/post-trip inspections, maintaining accurate route records, and reporting mechanical issues promptly. You will follow safety standards, wear PPE, and maintain a clean vehicle while adhering to company policies and local regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is desired.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• One year of commercial truck driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Must meet safety sensitive criteria per company standards.
• Ability to safely drive and operate the truck and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate container delivery truck and on-board hydraulic systems to deliver/remove dumpster containers.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, daily truck reports, route sheets, and supervisor requests.
• Communicate vehicle mechanical problems to mechanic and supervisor immediately.
• Operate truck using prescribed techniques to prevent driver-induced failures.
• Maintain route quality standards as set by management.
• Keep yard inventory organized and orderly.
• Position containers at customer locations to minimize hazards.
• Cover containers without lids during transport.
• Follow all safety standards and company policies for vehicle operation.
• Keep vehicle cab interior and exterior clean.
• Wear required PPE at all times (gloves, vest, glasses, boots).
• Report accidents or incidents to supervisors immediately.
• Maintain professional demeanor on route and in uniform.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed.
• Assist supervisor to improve routing efficiency.
