Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. seeks a Driver to operate a container delivery truck on assigned routes, delivering and removing dumpsters and ensuring safe handling and transport of waste. You will follow standard operating procedures and maintain compliance with safety policies.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, documenting route sheets, reporting issues to supervisors, and keeping both truck and equipment in good condition for daily use.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED desired.
• Possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Minimum of one year commercial truck driving experience OR CDL school certificate.
• Must be able to meet safety sensitive criteria per company standards.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend maps and related documents.

Responsibilities

• Operate container delivery truck and on-board hydraulic systems to deliver and remove dumpsters.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and maintain daily logs.
• Report mechanical problems to supervisor or mechanic immediately.
• Maintain route quality and keep yard inventory organized.
• Comply with all safety standards and company policies while on route.
• Keep vehicle clean and perform required duties on time.
