Job summary

GFL is seeking a CDL truck driver to operate roll-off trucks and related equipment, ensuring daily safety inspections and accurate reporting. You will communicate mechanical issues promptly, maintain route quality, and comply with health and safety protocols while serving customers along defined routes.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid CDL, and at least one year of driving experience or CDL school certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED desired.
• Possess valid CDL.
• Minimum one year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Must be able to meet safety-sensitive functions according to Company standards.
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to safely drive the truck and operate the equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate roll-off truck and ancillary equipment to collect waste.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and complete reports daily.
• Communicate vehicle mechanical problems to mechanic and supervisor.
• Maintain route quality standards as determined by management.
• Follow safety standards and company rules on vehicle operation.
