Job summary

Austin Powder is seeking a CDL Class B Driver/Operator to safely transport and deliver bulk and packaged explosives to customer sites. You will operate mobile manufacturing units, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, maintaining logs, following regulatory and safety procedures, and providing labor support at job sites.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A or Class B CDL.
• Ability to read and interpret gauges and safety rules.
• Experience with heavy vehicle operation and maintenance is preferred.
• Hazmat, tanker, and air brake endorsements are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates CDL vehicles and mobile manufacturing units at customer sites.
• Loads/unloads materials and ensures cargo matches manifests.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections and reports maintenance needs.
• Maintains accurate records of daily operations and hours.
• Drives 20–30% of time, performs labor tasks the rest of the day.
• Adheres to all safety, regulatory, and company policies.
