Job summary

Austin Powder Company is hiring a highly capable driver/operator for outdoor bulk materials handling at customer sites. You will operate vehicles and equipment safely, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and deliver bulk and packaged explosives while complying with regulations.

The role requires a Class A/B CDL, ability to lift 50 lbs, and comfort working in all weather. You must be 21+ and have a high school diploma; hazmat endorsement is preferred and continuous safety training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older per DOT requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate vehicles and equipment safely and professionally.
• Drive 20–30% of the shift; perform physical labor outdoors with tools.
• Coordinate and handle mechanisms to deliver emulsion.
• Transport goods, inventory, hazardous materials, and other cargo to destinations.
• Maintain logs, confirm loads match manifests, track working hours.
• Load, unload, and transport materials including overhead bin loading with fall protection.
• Operate MMUs onsite to create bulk products for blasting.
• Follow safety and regulatory requirements for bulk and packaged explosives.
