Job summary

Austin Powder is seeking a driven CDL driver to operate and maintain bulk production equipment at customer sites and our location. The role involves extensive outdoor work, loading/unloading, and transporting explosives with strict safety and regulatory compliance.

You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs. Candidates must be 21+, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and have a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age as required by the DOT.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CDL license with clean driving record preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret gauges and regulate to standards.
• Maintain accurate daily operation records and safety checks.

Responsibilities

• Maintains/operates vehicles and equipment safely and professionally.
• Drive 20-30% of time; perform physical labor outside with tools.
• Transport goods, hazardous materials, and cargo to destinations.
• Load/unload and move materials with attention to safety and logs.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Comply with regulatory requirements for bulk/packaged explosives.
