Job summary

AUSTIN POWDER COMPANY is seeking a dedicated individual to operate vehicles and equipment in a safe manner. Responsibilities include loading/unloading materials, maintaining logs, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for explosives.

The ideal candidate will possess a valid CDL license and must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions. This role requires physical strength with the ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age as required by the DOT.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Must meet the requirements of all State and Federal explosive laws.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and operates vehicles and equipment safely.
• Responsible for loading/unloading materials at customer sites.
• Complies with regulatory requirements for the delivery of explosives.

Skills

Valid Class-A or Class-B CDL license

Ability to work outside in all weather conditions

Physical ability to lift 50lbs

Proficiency in reading and interpreting gauges

Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Hazmat, tanker, and air brake endorsements

Reliable transportation

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
