Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service is seeking a Support CDL Driver to fill in on open or unassigned routes and support daily delivery operations. The role requires flexibility to cover varying routes and schedules while maintaining safety, service, and delivery standards.

Responsibilities include assisting drivers with sorting freight, loading trucks, delivering and picking up freight, reporting issues, and traveling as needed. Starting pay is $24.00–$30.75 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must hold a valid CDL Class A driver's license OR complete Company paid CDL training program.

Responsibilities

• Cover open, vacant or unassigned route based on business needs.
• Assist drivers with daily morning duties (sorting freight, loading trucks).
• Deliver and pick up freight from customers and shippers.
• Inspect and report mechanical problems with the vehicle.
• Collect payments as needed and verify shipping papers.
• Travel may be required and participate in weekly meetings.
