Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a Support CDL Driver to fill in on open routes to support daily delivery operations. The role requires flexibility to cover varying routes and schedules while maintaining safety, service, and delivery standards.

Qualified candidates have a CDL Class A, are at least 21, and can pass a DOT physical. The position offers full-time hours with potential overtime and a starting wage of $24.00–$30.75 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL Class A driver's license OR complete company-paid CDL training.
• Must pass a DOT physical.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Cover open, vacant or temporarily unassigned route based on business needs.
• Assist drivers with daily morning duties such as sorting freight, loading trucks and other duties as needed.
• Deliver and pick up freight in a timely manner from customers and shippers.
• Inspect and report any mechanical problems with the vehicle.
• Collect payments as needed.
• Verify the content of pickups on shipping papers.
• Notify management of any problems or discrepancies.
• Travel may be required.
• Perform other required duties as assigned.
