Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service is seeking a Support CDL Driver to fill in on open routes and support daily delivery operations. You will cover routes, assist drivers, and ensure safety and timely delivery standards are met.

The role includes 10–15 hours of overtime weekly, weekend OT as needed, and a starting wage of $24–$28 per hour based on experience. A sign-on bonus of $10,000 is offered for CDL Class-A drivers.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid CDL Class A license or successfully complete company-paid CDL training program.
• Must possess good customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Cover open, vacant or temporarily unassigned routes based on business needs.
• Assist drivers with daily duties such as sorting freight and loading trucks.
• Deliver and pick up freight from customers and shippers in a timely manner.
• Inspect and report mechanical problems with the vehicle.
• Collect payments as needed and verify shipments on shipping papers.
• Notify management of problems or discrepancies and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Participate in weekly meetings and communicate goals and assignments.
• Travel may be required and optional overtime rules apply.
