Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service is seeking a CDL Class A driver to fill in on open routes and support daily delivery operations. The role requires flexibility to cover varying routes and schedules while maintaining safety, service, and on-time deliveries.

Starting wage is $24.00–$30.75 per hour with a $10,000 sign-on bonus; overtime paid time and a half after 40 hours. Candidates must be 21+, hold CDL A or complete our paid training, and pass pre-employment screens.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate a manual transmission.
• Must possess or obtain a doubles/triples endorsement.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Cover open, vacant or temporarily unassigned routes as needed.
• Assist drivers with daily morning duties (sorting freight, loading trucks).
• Deliver and pick up freight from customers and shippers in a timely manner.
• Inspect and report mechanical issues with the vehicle.
• Collect payments as needed and verify shipping papers.
• Notify management of problems or discrepancies and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
