Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers to operating locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations. You will operate tandem tractors and ensure safety and DOT compliance on intrastate and interstate routes.

The role requires 12+ months of driving experience, a CDL-A with Doubles Endorsement, and a valid DOT Health Card. Schedules include night shifts, with safety as a priority and opportunities for growth within a large food

Qualifications

• 12+ months of commercial driving experience.
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required.
• Must be 21 years of age and able to obtain DOT Health Card.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post trip safety inspections per DOT regulations.
• Drive tandem trailer, tractor trailer and/or straight truck on intrastate/interstate routes.
• Turn around and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations in a timely, safe manner.
• Maintain required route paperwork and daily hours of service log.
• Unloads and secures freight and ensures proper documentation.
