160 Driving Academy is seeking a CDL Class A Instructor Trainer to teach students from pre-trip inspections to passing the CDL exam. Based at a designated yard, you will train in the yard and behind the wheel, with occasional coverage at regional yards.

You will lead safety, maintain training records, and ensure students meet CDL testing standards on first attempt. The role offers local shifts, a merit-based pay structure, and a clear career path.

Qualifications

• High school graduation certificate or equivalent.
• Valid Class A CDL with at least 24 months of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Ability to teach and mentor adult learners.

Responsibilities

• Teach CDL A driving skills through hands-on yard and on-road training.
• Guide students through pre-trip inspections, yard maneuvers, and testing standards.
• Maintain training records and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with instructors and lead instructor to ensure consistent student experience.
• Cover for other instructors at nearby yards as needed.
