Job summary

160 Driving Academy is seeking a CDL Class A Instructor Trainer to teach students from pre-trip inspection to CDL exam success. Based at a designated yard, you’ll work with a team of instructors and lead occasional assignments at other yards.

You’ll also ensure yard cleanliness and basic upkeep as part of the role. Located in a local yard setting, this hands-on, home-every-night position rewards performance with merit increases, bonus pools, and extras for top yards.

Qualifications

• Must be an experienced Class A driver teaching in a hands-on yard and classroom setting.
• Reliable, on-time attendance is core to the role.
• Willingness to cover at regional yards as needed.

Responsibilities

• Teach Class A driving skills in yards and on-road.
• Guide students through pre-trip inspections and maneuvers.
• Prepare students to pass CDL exams on first attempt.
• Maintain training records and documentation.
