Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a Support CDL Driver to fill in on open routes and support daily delivery operations. The role requires flexibility to cover varying routes while maintaining safety, service, and delivery standards.

Starting wage is $24.00–$28.00 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours and a potential sign-on bonus of $10,000. This on-site position covers flexible shifts, with 10–15 hours of overtime weekly and occasional weekend OT as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate a manual transmission.
• Must possess or obtain a doubles/triples endorsement.
• Must have good customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Cover open, vacant, or temporarily unassigned routes based on business needs.
• Assist drivers with daily morning duties such as sorting freight and loading trucks.
• Deliver and pick up freight in a timely manner from customers and shippers.
• Inspect and report any mechanical problems with the vehicle.
• Collect payments as needed and verify pickups on shipping papers.
• Notify management of problems or discrepancies and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Participate in weekly meetings and communicate goals and assignments.
• Travel may be required and perform other duties as assigned.
