Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service is hiring a Support CDL Driver to fill in on open routes and support daily delivery operations. Starting wage is $24.00–$28.00 per hour, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Expect 10–15 hours of overtime weekly and variable shifts based on business needs.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM until route completion, with possible weekend overtime and travel as needed. Driver must have CDL A or complete company training, pass pre-employment screenings, and maintain

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CDL Class A license or company-paid training required.

Responsibilities

• Cover open, vacant or unassigned routes as needed.
• Assist drivers with daily morning duties (sorting freight, loading trucks).
• Deliver and pick up freight from customers and shippers.
• Inspect vehicle and report mechanical issues.
• Collect payments as needed.
• Verify pickups on shipping papers.
• Notify management of problems or discrepancies.
• Travel may be required.
