Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service seeks a Support CDL Driver to fill in on routes, supporting daily delivery operations. Flexibility to cover varying routes while maintaining safety, service, and delivery standards is required. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for CDL Class-A drivers.

This role involves covering open routes, assisting with morning duties, delivering and picking up freight, and reporting any issues. Overtime is common, with paid OT after 40 hours.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a manual transmission.
• Must possess or obtain a doubles/triples endorsement.
• Must possess good customer service and organizational skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CDL Class A license or complete company CDL training program.

Responsibilities

• Cover open, vacant or unassigned route as needed.
• Assist drivers with daily morning duties (sorting freight, loading trucks).
• Deliver and pick up freight from customers and shippers on time.
• Inspect and report mechanical problems with the vehicle.
