Job summary

Daniels Health is seeking a Class B driver to operate a truck in the Taylor, MI area, collecting sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare locations and delivering excellent customer service daily.

The role offers autonomy, stable hours, opportunities for overtime, and a competitive hourly rate of $25 with a full-time schedule of roughly 40–45 hours per week. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, with additional disability and life insurance options.

Qualifications

• CDL B license is required.
• Delivery experience with manual handling is preferred.
• Willing to work full-time (~40 hours/week).
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• Clean Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse record: 7 Year review.

Responsibilities

• Safely collect, deliver and store medical waste containers.
• Provide strong customer service and build relationships.
• Operate vehicles safely and in compliance with DOT.
• Meet schedules and communicate changes clearly.
• Loading and unloading and route management.
• Maintain logs and perform inspections.
