Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a CDL Class A Driver (LTL) to operate tractor-trailers or straight trucks for on-time delivery and pickup of palletized freight and large shipments.

The role requires a valid CDL A, good driving record, and the ability to work Monday–Friday with overtime. Compensation ranges from $24.00 to $30.75 per hour based on experience, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate a manual transmission.
• Ability to obtain a doubles/triples endorsement.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and make quick decisions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a pre-trip inspection to ensure safety and equipment readiness.
• Submit pre-trip forms and mileage/maintenance records.
• Deliver and pick up palletized freight on schedule.
• Verify load-related documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Collect payments for shipments when required and file bills of lading for billing.
