Job summary
Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a CDL Class A Driver to operate tractor-trailer or straight truck for timely delivery and pickup of palletized freight. The role is full-time with a 7:30 AM start, Monday through Friday, and includes overtime opportunities.
Starting pay ranges from $24.00 to $30.75 per hour, depending on experience. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered.Applicants must meet DOT and company safety standards and pass pre-employment screenings.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record.
- Ability to operate manual transmission.
- Doubles/triples endorsement preferred.
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
- Capable of working independently and making quick decisions.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-trip inspections to ensure mechanical and safety readiness.
- Deliver palletized freight to customers and pick up shipments from shippers.
- Complete mileage and maintenance forms and submit on time.
- Verify load-related documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Collect payment for shipments as necessary and return BOLs to the office.
