Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is hiring a CDL Class A Driver (LTL) to operate tractor-trailers and straight trucks for delivery and pickup of palletized freight. The role features a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a schedule from Monday to Friday with overtime expectations.

Pay ranges from $24.00 to $30.75 per hour, with overtime paid at time-and-a-half after 40 hours. Requires a valid CDL A, clean driving record, and the ability to pass pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid CDL Class A driver's license with a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Pre-trip inspection to ensure mechanical and safety readiness.
• Turn in pre-trip forms and complete mileage and maintenance forms.
• Deliver palletized freight and pick up freight from shippers.
• Verify load documentation for accuracy.
• Collect payments for shipments as needed and file BOLs.
• Maintain DOT and company safety certifications.
• Wash tractor and equipment daily and assist others when needed.
