Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a CDL Class A Driver to operate tractor-trailers or straight trucks, delivering and picking up palletized freight. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered along with a pay range of $24.00 to $30.75 per hour and overtime after 40 hours.

The role requires pre-trip inspections, accurate documentation, and strong customer service. Expect 10–15 hours of overtime weekly with time-and-a-half OT pay, and a full-time schedule Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid CDL Class A driver's license with a good driving record that meets company standards.
• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a pre-trip inspection to ensure mechanical and safety readiness.
• Deliver palletized freight promptly and pick up shipments from shippers.
• Verify load-related documentation for accuracy.
• Collect payment for shipments as necessary and process billing.
• Maintain required DOT and company safety certifications.
• Assist other drivers with loading and unloading as needed.
