Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring a truck driver to operate over-the-road routes with some local deliveries in Caldwell, Idaho. Base pay starts at $28.00-$30.00 per hour, with a Sunday–Friday shift.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL and 2 years of truck driving experience, plus the ability to tarp loads and operate a trailer-mounted forklift. Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and work independently or with a team, planning and managing time effectively while

Responsibilities

• Perform pre & post-trip inspections thoroughly.
• Maintain cleanliness and integrity of vehicle and equipment.
• Immediately report any necessary repairs and/or maintenance needed.
• Actively ensure compliance with DOT guidelines.
• Load and unload truck using a Manitou or Moffett.
• Verify entire content loads prior to leaving manufacturing facility or job site.
• Follow all safety procedures for transporting goods.
• Occasional Weekend work.
• Flexible work hours.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Base pay starts at $28.00 - $30.00 per hour.

Shift: Sunday - Friday.

This position will primarily be over the road with some local deliveries.

Duties and Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• 2 years commercial truck driving experience required (equivalent Military DD214 experience is acceptable)
• Clean driving record
• Willing to tarp using Conestoga XP Roll Tarp Systems and strap flatbed loads
• Operate trailer mounted forklift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
• Multi-drop delivery experience a plus
• Ability to work independently or with a team
• Ability to plan and manage time efficiently
• Ability to work safely throughout the day and prevent unsafe conditions
