FedEx Freight, Inc. is looking for a qualified driver to pick up and deliver freight between Service Centers and customers, supporting the selling process.

The role requires a Class A CDL with endorsements, DOT compliance, and the ability to handle up to 100 pounds repeatedly, along with strong communication and teamwork skills. This position offers competitive hourly pay and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Class A CDL with double/triple, hazardous materials and tank endorsements.
• DOT regulatory requirements under FMC regulations must be met.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 100 pounds several times a week.
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills for documentation and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles/triples and straight trucks.
• Perform pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment.
• Hook/unhook trailers and convertor dollies.
• Handle freight with forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Secure freight inside trailers using pallets, straps, and rope.
• Complete required documentation and reports.
• Comply with hazardous material regulations.
• Communicate with dispatch and customers to coordinate pickups/deliveries.
• Seek additional business opportunities from customers.
