Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a CDL (B) Driver to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt waste removal services for customers. The role includes ensuring vehicle compliance with safety standards, completing daily vehicle condition reports, and following company policies and customer routes.

You will interact professionally with customers and dispatchers to maintain reliable service. Minimum qualifications include a Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement and 2 years of commercial

Qualifications

• Two years of prior experience driving commercial trucks preferred.
• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure safety and report issues.
• Safely operate the heavy truck on designated routes and service each customer as identified.
• Load refuse using the packer and dispose of material at the designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and colleagues daily.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag accordingly.
• Complete required route/productivity sheets and vehicle condition reports (VCRs).
• Maintain productivity standards and adhere to safety policies and ReSOP procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
