Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver with a Class B CDL to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal services. You will ensure vehicle readiness, comply with safety standards, and maintain daily vehicle condition reports while serving customers on assigned routes.

The role emphasizes safety, punctuality, and customer service, with opportunities to work on residential and commercial routes and to participate in company safety programs.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement.
• Ability to safely operate heavy trucks on residential and commercial routes.
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections.
• Safely operate the collection truck along designated routes and service customers.
• Load refuse, operate the packer and dispose of material at the designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and co-workers daily.
• Complete required reports and adhere to productivity standards.
• Follow safety policies and participate in ReSOP program.
