Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal services to customers. You will ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards, complete daily VCRs, and adhere to all state and federal regulations while on the road.

The role emphasizes careful pre-/post-trip inspections, on-route customer interactions, and timely reporting of any issues. A Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement is required.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher CDL with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections.
• Safely operate heavy truck on designated routes and service customers.
• Load refuse and operate the compactor at the disposal site.
• Interact courteously with customers and dispatch.
• Complete route productivity sheets and VCRs.
• Maintain compliance with safety policies and regulations.
• Adhere to company schedule and safety standards.
