Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt waste removal services for customers. You will ensure the vehicle meets safety standards and complies with regulations, and complete vehicle condition reports daily.

The role requires careful route execution, pre- and post-operation inspections, and safe operation of refuse loading equipment in accordance with company policies. Training provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle to ensure tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges and controls are in proper working order.
• Safely operate heavy truck along designated route and service each customer as identified on the route sheet or by dispatcher.
• Operate manual and/or automatic controls to lift and load refuse, use the compactor, and dispose of collected material in accordance with safety policies.
