Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal services on assigned routes. You will ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations before driving, and complete daily vehicle condition reports.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, serving customers on the route, reporting any vehicle issues, and maintaining accurate productivity and route reports.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement.
• Ability to safely operate a heavy truck on route.
• Commitment to safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle to ensure proper working order and report safety issues.
• Safely operate the heavy truck along designated routes and service each customer as identified on the route sheet.
• Operate controls to lift and load refuse, and dispose of material at the designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely service.
• Complete route/productivity sheets, VCRs and other required reports.
