Job summary

Republic Services is hiring a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and deliver prompt, courteous waste removal services. The role requires maintaining vehicle safety, adhering to regulations, and completing daily vehicle condition reports to ensure timely repairs.

The position involves performing pre- and post-operation inspections, servicing routes, and maintaining accurate route/productivity sheets while meeting safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement.
• Ability to perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to company policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections.
• Safely operate the heavy truck on designated routes and service customers.
• Load refuse, operate the compactor, and dispose of materials at designated facilities.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and colleagues daily.
• Complete required reports and maintain productivity standards.
• Adhere to safety policies and participate in ReSOP program.
