Job summary

The Shelly Company in Huntington, WV seeks an experienced concrete mixer truck driver to safely operate a ready-mix truck, deliver to job sites, and unload concrete to customer specifications. You will work with a dispatcher/plant manager and may perform site duties, truck maintenance, and yard work as needed.

A valid Class B CDL is required; high school diploma or equivalent and related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid minimum class B CDL.
• Education and Experience: high school diploma preferred or equivalent; or 1 year related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Operate ready-mix concrete truck to deliver to construction sites safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Maintain truck and mixer-drum cleanliness and required PPE usage.
• Communicate with Dispatcher or Plant Manager regarding deliveries and tickets.
• Read receipts, complete tickets, and handle customer questions.
