Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a dependable Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal services. You will ensure the vehicle meets safety standards, adhere to all regulations, and complete daily vehicle condition reports to prevent defects.

Primary responsibilities include pre/post inspections, route servicing, loading waste, and maintaining professional interactions with customers.

Qualifications

• CDL B license is required with air brakes endorsement.
• Strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance.
• Good customer service and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Safely operate heavy truck along designated routes to service customers and disposal sites.
• Load refuse using mechanical controls and dispose at designated facilities.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and co-workers to maintain service quality.
• Tag and identify unsatisfactory waste containers and monitor waste for safety concerns.
• Complete route productivity sheets and vehicle condition reports daily.
