Job summary

Orica USA Commercial team seeks a CDL Class B Driver to deliver and install blasting products at customer sites in mining, quarry, and construction settings. The role combines driving with hands-on field work, emphasizing safety and customer service.

The position is outdoor, with early starts (4–5 AM), long days, and potential overtime, plus occasional overnight travel. Local driving and team coordination are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in driving and/or material handling.
• Solid understanding of DOT regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class B CDL required (Class A is a plus).
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and carry 50 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Hybrid role with roughly 40% driving and 60% physical work.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
• Safely hook up and unhook trailers.
• Operate emulsion tanker trucks and box trucks.
• Handle hazardous materials in compliance with safety rules.
• Support environmental and safety practices to minimize impact.
