Orica is seeking a CDL Class B Driver (Explosives Delivery & Service) in Poultney, VT. The role blends driving bulk trucks with hands-on site work delivering blasting products to mining and construction customers.

You will perform vehicle inspections, handle hazardous materials safely, and support customers with timely, compliant service. A strong safety mindset, good math skills, and DOT knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Safe operation of bulk trucks and trailers
• Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Knowledge of handling hazardous materials and regulatory requirements
• Ability to load/unload and install blasting products at customer sites
• Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive mixed fleets (bulk and box trucks) according to DOT rules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report defects.
• Hook up/unhook trailers and deliver materials to customer sites.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and enforce safety standards on site.
