Job summary

The Macomb Group in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a full-time Class B driver to join our team. You will transport materials, prepare load receipts, and maintain logs while upholding safety standards across daily routes.

Daily activities include loading/unloading, possible warehouse duties, and a daytime Monday–Friday schedule with overtime on select Saturdays. The company offers comprehensive medical plans, 401(k) with generous matches, and various employee perks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Must possess a Class B License and DOT Certification.

• Maintenance of truck logs and proof of delivery
• Loading and unloading truck materials when needed

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to and from specified destinations
• Prepares receipts for load pickup
• Maintenance of truck logs and proof of delivery
• Loading and unloading truck materials when needed
• Possible warehouse duties after runs are completed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Class B License
• DOT Certification
• Be able to walk, sit, stand, climb, kneel, or crawl occasionally
• Be able to frequently lift or move up to 25lbs
• Be able to strap and load materials onto truck bed
• Knowledge of PVF is a plus

Work Setting

Grand Rapids, Michigan

Monday - Friday, day shift

OT on some Saturdays, 8 AM - 12 PM

No nights, holidays, or Sundays
