Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety rules and operating instructions.

Class A Driver

Summary

The Macomb Group, a recognized leading distributor in the Midwest for Pipe, Valve, and Fittings, is looking for a full‑time class A driver at our Sterling Heights, Michigan location. We seek a motivated, enthusiastic, self‑driven individual to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

• Local deliveries
• Transport materials to and from specified destinations
• Prepare receipts for load pickup
• Maintain truck logs and proof of delivery
• Load and unload truck materials when needed
• Possible warehouse duties after runs are completed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Class A License
• DOT Certification
• Be able to walk, sit, stand, climb, kneel, or crawl occasionally
• Be able to frequently lift or move up to 25 lbs
• Be able to strap and load materials onto truck bed
• Knowledge of PVF is a plus

Work Setting

Location: Sterling Heights, Michigan
Schedule: Monday – Friday, day shift
Optional overtime on some Saturdays, 8 AM – 12 PM
No nights, holidays, or Sundays
