Job Description – Class B Driver

Title

Responsibilities

• Local deliveries
• Transport materials to and from specified destinations
• Prepare receipts for load pickup
• Maintain truck logs and proof of delivery
• Load and unload truck materials when needed
• Perform possible warehouse duties after runs are completed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Class B License
• Capable of driving a manual vehicle
• DOT certification
• Ability to walk, sit, stand, climb, kneel, or crawl occasionally
• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 25 lb
• Ability to strap and load materials onto truck bed
• Knowledge of PVF is a plus

Work Setting

Livonia, Michigan – Monday to Friday, day shift. Occasional overtime on Saturdays (8 AM–12 PM). No nights, holidays, or Sundays.
