Job summary

The Macomb Group in Kalamazoo, Michigan is seeking a full-time Class B Driver to support local deliveries and material transport to specified destinations. The role requires a valid Class B license and DOT certification, with a day shift Monday–Friday.

You will maintain truck logs, prepare receipts, load and unload cargo, and may take on occasional warehouse duties after routes. No night shifts, holidays, or Sundays. OT on some Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Class B License required.
• DOT Certification required.
• Be able to walk, sit, stand, climb, kneel, or crawl occasionally; lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Local deliveries
• Transport materials to and from specified destinations
• Prepare receipts for load pickup
• Maintain truck logs and proof of delivery
• Loading and unloading truck materials when needed
• Possible warehouse duties after runs are completed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Class B License
• DOT Certification
• Be able to walk, sit, stand, climb, kneel, or crawl occasionally
• Be able to frequently lift or move up to 25 lbs
• Be able to strap and load materials onto truck bed
• Knowledge of PVF is a plus

Work Setting

Kalamazoo, Michigan

Monday - Friday, day shift

OT on some Saturdays, 8 AM - 12 PM

No nights, holidays, or Sundays
