Job summary

The Macomb Group is seeking a full-time Class B driver for our Wilmington, NC location. This role involves transporting materials, maintaining records, and potential warehouse duties after routes. We offer a day shift (Monday–Friday) with some Saturday OT and a comprehensive benefits package.

Minimum requirements include a Class B license, ability to drive manual, DOT certification, and a high school diploma or equivalent. No nights, holidays, or Sundays; OT possible on Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Class B License required.
• Able to drive manual transmission.
• DOT Certification required.
• Able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to and from specified destinations.
• Prepare receipts for load pickup.
• Maintain truck logs and proof of delivery.
• Load and unload materials as needed.
• Possible warehouse duties after routes are completed.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to and from specified destinations
• Prepares receipts for load pickup
• Maintenance of truck logs and proof of delivery
• Loading and unloading truck materials when needed
• Possible warehouse duties after runs are completed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Class B License
• Able to drive manual
• DOT Certification
• Be able to walk, sit, stand, climb, kneel, or crawl occasionally
• Be able to frequently lift or move up to 25lbs
• Be able to strap and load materials onto truck bed
• Knowledge of PVF is a plus

Work Setting

Monday - Friday, day shift

OT on some Saturdays, 8 AM - 12 PM

No nights, holidays, or Sundays
