Job summary

The Macomb Group in Midland, Michigan is seeking a full-time Class A Driver to join our team. This role involves local deliveries, moving materials, and light warehouse duties during downtime, with a day shift and occasional Saturday OT.

We value safety, reliability, and the ability to read and interpret safety and operational documents. A Class A license and DOT certification are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Class A License.
• DOT Certification.
• Be able to walk, sit, stand, climb, kneel, or crawl occasionally.
• Be able to frequently lift or move up to 25lbs.
• Be able to strap and load materials onto truck bed.
• Knowledge of PVF is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Local deliveries
• Transport materials to and from specified destinations
• Prepares receipts for load pickup
• Maintenance of truck logs and proof of delivery
• Loading and unloading truck materials when needed
• Possible warehouse duties after runs are completed

Responsibilities

• Local deliveries
• Transport materials to and from specified destinations

Work Setting

Midland, Michigan

Monday - Friday, day shift

OT on some Saturdays, 8 AM - 12 PM

No nights, holidays, or Sundays
