Job summary

American Driver LLC is seeking new truck drivers for East Coast routes with a clear progression from training to solo driving. You will earn $850 per week during 4–6 weeks of training, plus $300 orientation pay, lodging covered, and bus fare to orientation. After solo, you’ll have a guaranteed $1,000 per week, with the potential to reach $1,200–$1,700 weekly.

Freight stays on the East Coast and drivers are home every two weeks. A $15 stop pay and a performance bonus plan accompany the role.

Qualifications

• 21 or older with valid Class A CDL and 120+ hours CDL school.
• New drivers welcome; 6 months OTR in past 12 months or 12 months in 5 years for experienced drivers.
• Military considered with DD214; no major preventable accidents in 5 years; no DUI/DWI in 5–10 years.

Responsibilities

• Operate freight on the East Coast with dry van, drop and hook and live loads.
• Meet pay and safety requirements during training and after solo dispatch.

Training Pay That Actually Pays

• $850 per week for 4 to 6 weeks of training
• Short orientation, 2 days or less, $300 orientation pay
• Lodging covered and bus fare to orientation reimbursed

Solo Pay

• $1,000/week guaranteed for 3 months after solo dispatch
• Start at $0.55 per mile, up a cent per year of experience to $0.65
• Average weekly pay of $1,200 to $1,700
• $15 stop pay plus a performance bonus plan

Where You'll Run

• Eastern planning zones only
• Loads typically stay east of the Mississippi River
• Dry van, drop and hook plus live loads

Requirements

• 21 or older, valid Class A CDL, 120+ hours CDL school
• New drivers welcome. Experienced: 6 months OTR in the past 12 months or 12 months in 5 years
• Military considered with DD214
• Max 2 moving violations in 2 years
• No major preventable accidents in 5 years, no DUI/DWI in 5 to 10 years
• Pass hair and urine drug tests, 3 years verifiable work history
