Job summary

NIS EXPRESS is seeking new CDL drivers in Greenville, NC. You start with paid training under an experienced trainer, 4–6 weeks on real loads, then solo in your own truck.

A guaranteed $1,000 weekly for the first 3 months is offered after sign-off, with pay ranging $1,200–$1,700 weekly gross and $0.55 per mile to start, increasing yearly. Home time is every two weeks, loads typically east of the Mississippi, with benefits including health/dental/vision after 30 days, a 401k match, paid time off,

Qualifications

• Class A CDL and at least 21 years old.
• New drivers: 120+ hours at an accredited CDL school.
• Experienced drivers: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the last 5 years.
• Clean record: max 2 moving violations in 2 years, no major preventable accidents in 5 years.
• Pass hair and urine drug testing.

How It Works

• Paid training with an experienced driver trainer, 4 to 6 weeks on real loads
• $650 per week training pay
• After sign off you run solo in your own truck
• $1,000 per week guaranteed for the first 3 months solo

Where You Run

• Eastern planning zones, loads usually stay east of the Mississippi
• 1,900 to 2,300 miles a week
• Home every two weeks
• Mostly drop and hook, some live loads

Pay

• $1,200 to $1,700 average weekly gross
• $0.55 per mile to start, rising 1 cent each year up to $0.65
• $15 stop pay
• Performance bonus plan
